Freed from corrective lenses
It was in the early 1950s when I took and passed the driver’s training course in preparation for securing my first Montana driver’s license. When I applied for the actual license, all went well. However, the examiner informed me that my eyesight did not meet the required standard. I could not obtain a valid license without corrective lenses.
I complied with Montana law and secured the appropriate lenses. My license was issued and carried the “appropriate lenses required” limitation.
Early in October 2011, I received a notice that I had to renew my license. At the same time I had been praying to God, our heavenly Father, for guidance on some work I had been doing toward gaining greater spiritual understanding.
