A decade of healing progress

As Americans and those across the world unite to think back on both the tragedy and the heroism seen on 9/11, we can also cherish the spiritual progress that has come about in the years since.

This issue of the Sentinel is designed to shine a light on the healing progress that has taken place over the past decade—and to continue with that effort. As Sentinel editors considered this topic, it became clear that in each of our lives (as I’m sure in your life), we’d seen or experienced instances in which healing answers overturned fear, intolerance, worries about insecurity, rehearsal of past events, and other issues.

In our cover section, John Tyler writes that “what we need is a new day. A new sense of the day we are living.” And how do we do that? By bringing the light of God, not darkness, into our view of the world (see p. 6).
