Prayer for people with disabilities
Tony Lobl, a Christian Science practitioner from London, England was the guest on this Sentinel audio chat. Tony has written many articles for the Christian Science magazines. This chat included site visitors who offered healings of their own. This excerpt has been edited for readability.
How do we overcome the belief of permanency, when we’ve had an injury for a long period of time, and the symptoms keep appearing? If I try to carry on normally, my family and others keep reminding me of what I should not be doing.
Working with families, it’s certainly important to see that people really are expressing care, when they have different views of what we should do. I’ve seen this in my practice, where different people with similar situations have felt guided differently as to what steps to take.
