Who are we?
For the lesson titled "Man" from February 28-March 6, 2011
This question has been asked many times by many people. And this week’s Bible Lesson, titled “Man,” offers a spiritually grounded answer.
The Golden Text is from a letter to churches mired in division and controversy (see I John 3:1). To help them rise above this situation, the writer reminds the people of one of the most basic truths—that they are all children of God. This is still true for us today. This is who we are. And this Lesson goes on to explain what that means to us and to describe the blessings it affords us.
An important point of clarification: The use of the term man as the Lesson topic doesn’t refer to gender. The concepts brought out are much larger and far grander.
