ASK AND YOU WILL RECEIVE
IT IS NATURAL TO ASK FOR WHAT WE NEED. Children ask, adults ask. We ask each other. We ask God.
Does it at times appear that God gives us only a little when we ask Him for an answer to our need? The Bible provides a higher, decidedly different view. "'Try Me now in this,' says the Lord of hosts, 'If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it'" (Mal. 3:10, New King James Version). God is pouring out unlimited goodness. His will is wonderful good for all His children.
How can we gain that view and experience this goodness? Christ Jesus said, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you" (Luke 11:9, New KJV).
