HEALED OF BOILS AND INFECTION

I'm so grateful for the good I've received in Christian Science. When I was introduced to Christian Science, I'd been suffering for many years from various conditions, including hemorrhoids and boils on my skin that were increasing day after day. I was so afraid, desiring nothing but to be healed of my diseases. I tried all forms of material remedies, consulted many physicians, and spent much money, but I was not cured.

When I was introduced to Christian Science by two friends several years ago, I learned the definition of the word Church in Science and Health with key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, and this became the focus of my attention. It reads, in part, "The Church is that institution, which affords proof of its utility and is found elevating the race, . . ." (p. 583). This led me to understand the healing influence of Church.

Finding the Christian Science church, including Science and Health, was to me the most precious treasure. As I read Science and Health from cover to cover, the boils disappeared within a week, and my health was restored to soundness that same year. This Science helped me, and still helps me, to put God first, and I often think of the triumph of the resurrection, in which Jesus proved this indestructible reality of Life and Love, which is God.
