WELCOME ON YOUR LOVE-DAY

Here you are!
Little hands folding round our fingers,
freshly opened eyes
meeting those
who already love you dearly.

Yet even while we know you newly,
you have been known
timelessly
by the one Creator
who Fathers you/Mothers you into being
moment by moment,
glorifying you, clarifying you
with the glory which has been yours
since before the world was.

You have a work to do for Him/Her
unlike any other
and a light to do it by
incomparable on earth.

So sing each day
the new song in your heart
and fly free
on wings of love!
