READERS' RESPONSES TO LETTER FROM THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE BOARD OF DIRECTORS TO THE NEW YORK TIMES

The April 19 Sentinel included correspondence regarding an article that appeared in the March 24 issue of The New York Times. Here is a selection of letters received by the Manager's Office of the Christian Science Committees on Publication.

Responding prayerfully to [The New York Times] article, the topic of the readings at the testimony meeting on March 24 in the Middletown, Connecticut, branch church was "Loving Christian Science and sharing it!"

A woman who had been a church member came again for the first time in many years. A man who lives across the street walked in during the testimonies and asked what was going on! After he was welcomed, it was explained that we were giving thanks for God's blessingsm and he asked what had been shared.
