IS THIS HOW WE KNOW SPIRIT?

The white sturdiness of this crocus petal,
unconcerned by the snow's crust,
echoes the innocence we are learning to trust.

The haunting call of the mourning doves
hails the willingness we find
growing in our hearts.

The breadth of the sky draws thought
out of earth bounds, speaking
the blessing of the bigger view.

"You are the evidence that matter is not real,"
says the Christ-voice.
"You are the evidence that God is here."

Integrity makes Truth known.
Humility honors the One Ego.
Unselfishness speaks the bounty of divine Love.

When gratitude cancels grief,
When courage trumps fear,
When the lies don't convince,
Christ is working to show us the oneness.

"Your substance is His substance."
In loving God as God loves us,
The belief in matter dissolves.

Goodness cherished is the way we know
We are what Spirit made us to be.
