ANYONE CAN BE A HEALER

'GO AND DO LIKEWISE'

GROWING UP in a Christian Science family, I'd always loved accounts of healing. When the Christian Science Sentinels and Journals popped through the letter box, I would turn immediately to the testimonies of healing. I felt sure that some day I'd be a Christian Science practitioner.

Meanwhile, as an adult, I was happy to be active in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist. The spiritual growth that came from participating in church activities often blessed me in business life.

On one occasion I found myself in an office where alcohol abuse often brought work to a standstill in the afternoons. At that time our church members were praying about "loving our community." I decided to take my Bible and Science and Health into the office. Each time work ground to a halt, I happily turned to God and sought inspiration on how to love more. By the time I moved on from that office, the whole situation had turned around, and there was no more alcohol abuse.
