THE INFINITE REACH OF DIVINE TRUTH

I've found Christian Science treatment to be effective in every area of my life. The following healing experiences are among many that have planted me firmly in the spiritual truths I've learned in my study of this religion.

When I was in the US Navy, a small growth on my foot suddenly grew large and uncomfortable. I found it was particularly painful when I was wearing my flight boots. Up to that point I hadn't paid much attention to it, but then I turned earnestly in prayer to God for healing.

I remember reading in Science and Health, "Speak the truth to every form of error" (p. 418). The spiritual facts embodied in that one statement caused me to realize that I'd been accepting and accommodating the growth by seeing it as attached to my identity. I then followed the wisdom of this statement and "spoke to the error" by mentally declaring that neither pain nor the growth were any part of God, and therefore no part of me as His reflection. I further declared that since God, divine Life, was entirely pure, the growth had no life or substance. Just two days after this treatment it fell off, leaving clear skin.
