HEALED OF PAIN IN KNEES

One Sunday evening, I developed such a painful knee that I could not bend it or get comfortable lying down. As a life-long Christian Scientist, I'd trusted God's power to heal any kind of problem. I knew I could rely on Him again.

So I prayed and studied until late into the night, with the help of the Bible and Science and Health, the two books that are the pastor of the Christian Science Church. It seemed difficult to focus on the healing truths in these books, however, because of the pain. And at times I became so discouraged that I broke down in tears. But finally I was able to get some rest.
