QUICK RECOVERY FROM A FALL
A year ago, while pruning a shrub next to our house, I lost my balance and fell on my face onto a metal gas meter. I heard a crack and felt my nose break. Immediately it began to bleed.
Since my husband wasn't at home, I couldn't call out to him for help. Fear began to take over my thoughts as I realized that I was alone. But at once I heard this angel message: "You're not alone! God is always here to help, and He'll help you now just as He always has."
I managed to wash my face at an outside faucet. And although I felt my nose was out of place and noticed there was substantial swelling, I was grateful that there was no pain. Wondering if I should call 911, my mind raced with thoughts like, What if my face turns black and blue, or if my nose heals crooked like a boxer's?! But calming thoughts of God's healing presence also came to me, and I remembered a verse from the Bible: "With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible" (Matt. 19:26).
