PERSISTENT PRAYER'S HEALING POWER

SIX YEARS AGO, I was the summer guest of a friend's family for about a week in upper Michigan.

One evening, as we all dined at a restaurant, the father of the family, who was a doctor of internal medicine, said he wanted to check my pulse. He asked if I was aware that I had a thyroid condition. I said I was aware of it. Then he asked if anyone else in my family had had a similar condition, informing me the condition could be fatal.

At that time a goiter was very apparent on my neck. Not only was I praying about it, but when the symptoms were most aggressive, I would call a Christian Science practitioner to pray for me. I told the doctor that I was aware of the condition and was praying for healing.
