SPIRITUAL AWAKENING DISSOLVES PAINFUL SKIN CONDITION

A few years ago, I noticed a tiny pimple on my leg. Over a period of months it grew into a painful skin condition that spread over both legs. An unsightly discharge also developed, and I tried to keep my legs bandaged as much as possible.

I was raised in Christian Science, but as soon as I was out of my teens, I became less interested in spiritual things. It was the swinging '60s, and I pursued a wild, carefree and at its heart, immoral lifestyle.

By this time, however, I had gotten my life back on track. I was happily married and had a good job that was challenging and fulfilling. Now, faced with this difficult physical condition, I knew I wanted to rely completely on Christian Science for healing. I had experienced healings of my own growing up, and was impressed with my mother's lifelong reliance on God. That gave me hope.
