QUESTIONS FOR THIS DAY

We are God's beams!
They radiate out from Him
And cannot go unused or be deflected.
God's beams are His manifestations—His children,
Useful, complete, shining perfectly
This day—and every day.

So, was this day brighter, more uplifting, more joyous
Because ... I was a part of it?
Did I add even a gleam of good,
Or did my God-beam go unused today?

Did I do more to subtract than add to this day?
Did I realize more of God than I did yesterday
(or a minute ago)?
Did I feel the world owes me,
Or did I uphold the world in prayer?
Did my God-beam go unused today?
