Home together

I was picturing us around a table, coming together with God—you and me, the kids down the street, my own kids and brother, all the dads and moms, cousins and grandparents in the world. And I marveled in anticipation of the unique stories we'd feel compelled to tell about our families, our homes.

Suddenly I felt extra glad to be welcoming you to our table this week, as the Sentinel explores the gift God, the Father-Mother, freely gives: an eternal dwelling place in His love.

Like mine, your home may vary in terms of form, and your family may often vary in terms of the number of people. Yet the thread that has run throughout my home and family has been silver and shiny. God, as the Soul that defines us, has led me to see that He is indeed my Father. I'll always live with God, and in God. We all have a home in God's many mansions, where we're fed with peace and safety and abundant good. We all live in one universal family.
