CARED FOR, LOVED, PROTECTED

YOU ARE STANDING directly in the sunlight of God's love, right now. And, in that love, you are safe and watched over.

Yet that light of love isn't just falling on you. You are an individual ray of light. The irrepressible radiance of God, the central light of creation, is the sum of all rays. Each is a unique manifestation in the spectrum of divine Love. Every one of us includes intelligence, harmony, eternality, wholeness, order, and joy. In other words, all that God is, man—His idea—manifests naturally. This fact is the basis for all the care, love, and protection any of us will ever need.

Just as the nature of God is fixed, so the nature of all God's creation is eternally set. There is no other power or principle or person to alter this truth. Mary Baker Eddy wrote, "In [Christian] Science there is no fallen state of being; for therein is no inverted image of God, no escape from the focal radiation of the infinite" (No and Yes, p. 17). As stated in the first account of creation in the Bible: "God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. ... Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them" (Gen. 1:31; 2:1).
