A SPIRITUAL JOURNEY TO HEALTH AND COMPLETENESS

I am so grateful to have been raised by parents who were devoted students of Christian Science. The truths I learned in Sunday School, and later through the instruction I had in Christian Science healing, have been a wonderful source of strength and have helped me in solving all kinds of challenges.

These spiritual truths lighted my way out of great darkness and turbulence in my life when my mother passed on 13 years ago. I found myself literally alone in the world. Long-cherished career plans never materialized. I could barely support myself and felt completely bereft of human help.

A year after my mother's passing, I injured my back severely, to the extent that I was unable to care for myself. I was taken to a Christian Science care facility, where my needs were lovingly met by devoted Christian Science nurses, who not only cared for me physically, but supported and encouraged my spiritual footsteps back to health. They even sang hymns from the Christian Science Hymnal with me during the long night hours. Also, I was supported by the effective prayers of a Christian Science practitioner.
