A QUICK AND PERFECT HEALING AT SCHOOL

A few months ago, I received a call from my children's school. I have a caller ID feature on my phone and can see who is calling. So before answering, I saw the name of the school, and I immediately affirmed to myself that—according to the Bible verse "Before they call, I will answer" (Isa. 65:24)—God had already answered this call.

The school administrator was calling to tell me that my ten-year-old daughter, Tanya, had severely hurt her arm during a football game at recess. She told me that Tanya's wrist and hand were very swollen and misshapen and that she could not move her wrist or fingers. The administrator calling was quite concerned and asked if I would like to talk with my daughter. I appreciate that the people at the school recognize that our family prays in times of trouble. So they always provide time for us to talk.

Right away I assured my daughter that she was safe and sound because she had never left God's care. Tanya was very calm and listened closely to the ideas we were sharing. I knew she had been praying, too. We talked about God's power that is always present and that God's power is only good. There isn't any power or force that opposes or resists God, divine Love. I asked her if she would like to come home. She told me she was fine and would stay at school, so we hung up. A few seconds later, the administrator called back and reiterated their concern for my daughter and asked that I come get her.
