Do you hear what I hear?
There I am in the dark, trying to figure out if what I'm about to do the next morning is the smartest move I can make—or the very dumbest. The customary list of pros and cons sits over there across the room on the desk, carefully thought through, but apparently to no avail. If it really held an answer for me, I'd be sleeping instead of lying there tossing and turning.
Now there I am, kneeling down (a very humbling pose, but surprisingly effective when you really want to hear God's voice, and not your own).
"God, I am totally willing to go either way on this. Plan A. Or Plan B. All I ask is that You tell me Your answer so clearly that I know it's from You—without a doubt!"
