LOOKING TO TRUTH BRINGS HEALING

A little over a year ago, a sore developed on my leg. It grew in size, and I become concerned. In praying about it, I knew I had to get rid of fear. Christ Jesus said, "Be not afraid" (Matt. 14:27). I felt Jesus could say this because he knew God to be the only power, and that we can trust Him for healing.

Every time I thought of the area, or bumped it, which was often, my thought turned to some spiritual truth from the Bible, such as "God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good" (Gen. 1:31).
