Three proofs that prayer works
I'm so grateful to say with certainty that prayer to God works. We can trust Him to answer our prayers, and prayer does have a healing effect.
Three experiences showed me how natural spiritual healing is. Each sprang from my desire to trust in God alone for guidance and health. Each helped me feel closer to Him.
Some years ago, I was a young, single mom. I was fortunate to be able to stay at home with my two preschoolers. And while I loved them dearly, there were times when I longed for a few moments to myself. Without another adult in the house, not only was I missing some "grownup" interaction, but my little ones were with me almost constantly.
