A CONTINUING SERIES ON HOW CHURCH IS ACTIVE IN PEOPLE'S LIVES

A foundation for life

MY FIRST MEMORIES OF ATTENDING CHURCH come from the Christian Sunday School where I learned Bible stories along with playing with blocks and drawing. That was when I was a preschooler. It wasn't until high school, though, that I realized I was going to church on Sundays not because my mom was taking me, but because I really wanted to be there.

The fact that I could apply what I was learning about God to daily living kept me coming through the doors.
