Prayer stops suffering from menopause
Menopause had been causing women in my family trouble, usually for years at a time. When I began menopause, I started to give myself specific Christian Science treatments for the night sweats I was experiencing.
I had watched my mother suffer with night sweats over a period of years, and also had seen her suffer with related conditions such as cramps and kidney problems that she had identified as a registered medical nurse. I had also witnessed my aunt's struggle with the same condition. She took hormone therapy for seven or eight years until it was found to be ineffective for its purpose and to be causing other problems. I really didn't believe hormone therapy would be helpful to me. I had depended on prayer and Christian Science treatment for my health for decades, and I was confident that that approach would help me in this case.
