Fixing a friendship with your BF

Last year, I had this big problem with my best friend, Niken. While I was in Jakarta, her boyfriend invited me to his birthday party, which was about two hours away. At the time, I was on my holiday from school, and I wasn't in the mood to go. So I lied to them, and I told them I had to go to another city to visit my grandfather.

When Niken came to Jakarta, my other best friend, Krishna, told her that I had lied to her. Then Krishna sent me messages on my cell phone saying that Niken had cried, and that she was really disappointed. And then I cried, too, because I didn't know it would turn out like this.

The next day I had to meet Niken. I didn't know what to say. But I knew I had made a mistake, and I had to fix it because I didn't want my friendship to end. I was so afraid Niken would hate me.
