Abigal & the schoolbag

There was a guy in our primary school called Abigal, and he acted like a real bully. After school, he would wait for the younger girls to carry his schoolbag. All the girls were afraid of him because if they refused to carry the bag, he would beat them up and chase them away.

One day, he waited for me at the school gate and told me to carry his schoolbag. I did not refuse to carry it. I just smiled and took the bag. I didn't see Abigal as a bully, but as a gentle child of God.

Every day Abigal waited for me and told me to carry his schoolbag. I never refused or whispered about him behind his back like the other girls.

One day, I prayed to God and told Him I knew that Abigal couldn't bully girls anymore because Abigal was His son.

The next day Abigal told me that he would never bully other pupils. And he went and said, “Sorry,” to everyone who had carried his bag. I was very happy and thanked God for this change in Abigal.
