I just finished the December 2 issue ["Always linked to God"] and feel so good about all the articles. The "100 Years Ago" I find most interesting because so much is the same today as it was then. Also the articles about Hanukkah and the Islam faith I have found to be very enlightening; they give me a better appreciation of how others believe. Even the one about Harry Potter was good and opened a door for me to books I had thought to be very bad for children because of their wizardry. Many thanks for all your thoughtful articles and testimonies.

The December 16 issue ["Standing up to abusive behavior"] came the day after I had seen a report on TV about a couple who was arrested for 128 violations for mistreating over 100 horses on their ranch. Needless to say, the article in that issue entitled "Comfort welcomed for abused horses" by Susan Clay was just what I needed. I was distressed about the situation and was feeling great resentment toward those accused of abusing their horses. Thanks for the wonderful article that addressed this type of situation.
