TIPS FOR ABUSE PREVENTION
To help prevent and reduce cruelty to animals:
• Report any suspected animal abuse you see to the proper authorities.
• Thank those who blow the whistle and are willing to go public. It can take moral courage to do so.
• Foster or adopt an "unadoptable" animal (those with disabilities).
• Volunteer at a shelter or a sanctuary for rescued animals. You could be assigned "tough" jobs—such as hugging, brushing, treat-giving.
