No more carsickness

It used to be that no matter where I sat in a car, I would get sick to my stomach.

One Thanksgiving, my sister invited all of my family up to her house for dinner. I didn't feel well that morning, so I decided not to go. The rest of the family went, and I stayed home reading and studying the Bible and Science and Health. I prayed to understand that I didn't need to be carsick—that God hadn't made me that way. He'd made me strong and free, and I wanted to prove that.

That evening, the family returned home saying what a good time they'd had and that everyone had missed me. But it had been worth it for me to stay behind and pray that day; since then, I've never hesitated to go anywhere in the car, and I've never had a return of carsickness. I've been able to ride comfortably in any vehicle. I can even read while the car is in motion.
