The most powerful painkiller
Shortly after dinner one night, I sat down and read three Sentinels cover to cover. I was inspired by what I read and then went to bed.
About an hour later I woke up feeling dizzy, and I had a headache. I decided to get up and pray for healing.
Using the spiritual ideas that had been shared at the previous week's service at my church, I spent the next hour giving myself what I considered a full Christian Science treatment. What do I mean when I say that I gave myself a treatment? I mean I prayed. I prayed to get a better understanding of my relationship to God. This involved endeavoring to see the perfect identity that God had given me, right where I had been seeing myself as sick.
