A parent's prayer in little and big things
AS parents work to keep pace with the growing demands of family life, it's important to know that we are not alone in our efforts. God, who is divine Love, is attentive and responsive to the needs of every member of the family.
No problem is too small and inconsequential, neither is any problem bigger than God's ability to meet it.
When my three-year-old son had lost a part of a toy about the size of a pencil eraser, I thought it was a good time to introduce him to the practicality of God's care and loving presence. He was looking to me for help, and I wanted us both to look to God.
