Love is here to heal
One day I went to get my hair colored, as I've done for years. When the hairdresser applied the coloring, I felt a burning sensation in my scalp. He assured me it was the same product he always used, and that there was nothing to worry about. That night, however, my scalp, forehead, right ear, and right eye were very red, and my eye was swollen.
I woke up in the middle of the night in a panic, with intense itching in my neck and scalp. I got up and looked for something I could apply to relieve the discomfort. But I knew that I could pray instead to solve this problem.
I knew my real spiritual self could feel only what came from God—that is, what was good. I realized that for some time I had been resenting what I considered to be a lack of love all around me. And I saw then that this also was not the truth.
