Praying for the world's children
It doesn't cost a cent to help a child
A lot of us have been troubled by constant news on the plight of children in the world. Whether it's shootings in schools, death from starvation, drug abuse, AIDS, accidents, or whatever, there should be a call to action.
There are many organizations attempting to deal with the challenges that young people face. Counseling, group discussions, committees, panels, are sincere and honest attempts to help. It's worth supporting whatever can be accomplished to find an end to this epidemic.
The Sentinel would like to have a sharing place for kids, parents, grandparents, and people who care about the children—a place of refuge. So we plan a new section where readers can find fresh approaches to praying for the kids. We feel that prayer will be the answer that finally brings an end to the daily barrage of heart-wrenching news concerning the kids in the world.
