A Tribute to Women

I was transformed, while in jail, when I opened my heart to God.
And today, woman, I see your value so clearly!
I know we are all children of the same Father, who is Love.
And a Mother who is just and loving to all Her sons and daughters.

I admire you, woman, daughter of God,
You who are at home with children and husband,
Or at work, helping the world to progress.

I value you, woman, for I see that God created you
So that we might be companions.
I want to give you the best I can,
So that we may have an honest life, with mutual respect.
We will build a life together, and Love will protect us.

Woman, what attracts me to you is your trust in God.
I know you will ask Him what path to follow
And the doors will be opened to you!

Woman, I see your worth and respect you!
You who have God in your heart,

Woman, you express intelligence, righteousness, patience.
Your sincerity touches me, for there I see the beauty of God's child.
Your fidelity gives me strength.

I understand now that sin brings dissatisfaction
And tries to destroy whatever we have that's beautiful.
I know now that adultery only brings emptiness, and
I pray that all may see the value of a pure love.

I pray for you, that you may have a better life and be more respected.
I pray for you, that all men may know how to treat you with tenderness.
I pray that they may see only the divine innocence manifested in you.
