No more headaches
1997 was a year I don't like to think of very often. I was living with my family in New England, when I began to have very bad headaches.
I took many pain relievers. However, because of family complications, my family relocated to North Dakota the next year. With the general excitement of our move, my headaches were temporarily forgotten. Unfortunately, during 1999, they returned, only with more pain in my eyes.
At times the pain forced me to lie down with my eyes closed. My mother thought of consulting an eye doctor, but at the time my father was unemployed, and we didn't have enough money. But by God's grace, my older brother visited me. He was a Christian Scientist, and we talked a great deal about his religion. After he left, he sent me Science and Health.
