Trim away ungodlike thoughts
Pare down to the basics—God's goodness and love.
What are you really doing when you trim something? Your hair, for example, or the hedges in front of your house, or the excess newsprint surrounding an article or coupon you want to save. You are eliminating what is unnecessary or unwanted. You trim something when only part of it is worth keeping.
Could your life benefit from a little mental trimming?
