YOUR LETTERS
"You should have seen the enthusiasm with which these inspiring magazines were received."
I truly enjoy reading the Sentinel. Each copy certainly does help me to view "the world from a spiritual perspective." I first started reading the Sentinel about a year ago. At that time, I was bound by deep-seated mental errors. I had very low self-esteem. In sum, I felt like a social outcast destined to spend life in prison, and that neither God nor man was even the least bit mindful of me, much less cared for or loved me. Depression and thoughts of suicide were my constant companions, and I hated myself. This had been my mental state for several years.
The Sentinel is a great source of spiritual guidance for me. Not only does each copy reinforce and strengthen my knowledge and understanding learned from the Bible and Science and Health, i.e., that God is Love and that He/She loves me and everyone else; the Sentinel also teaches me how to apply this knowledge in each moment of every day. Through reading the Sentinel, I know that the mental errors of depression and suicidal thoughts cannot bind me because I am a child of God, made in His/Her image and likeness.
