Dear God when anguish cries out
and fear grips me tight

Bring me to the secret place
lead me to the rock
under the shadow
of the Almighty.

Let me know God is my Life
Life alone is law
under the shadow
of the Almighty.

Let me feel You—great I AM
govern me wholly,
protecting shadow
of the Almighty.

I, Spirit, am your being,
hold you safe and sure
under My shadow,
one with the Almighty.
