My gratitude overflows to God for the healing of a long-standing problem of incurring excessive debt.
Early in my study of Christian Science, the phrase from Romans "Owe no man any thing, but to love one another" (13:8) really caught my attention and moved me to demonstrate more of the divine economy. But it seemed that each time I would be almost free of debt, some circumstance or "want" would arise that would justify my using credit cards to satisfy the demand of the moment. I always had the means to maintain a good credit rating, which only prolonged my facing up to the inclination to spend money before it was earned and to spend too much of it!
