Status—without the symbols
I Play the guitar, and it brings to mind a cartoon I once saw. A guy was carrying a guitar case, and another person says, "What's in the case?" And the guy carrying the guitar case says, "Status!"
I've made a lot of decisions in my life because of status—not necessarily the right decisions, though. But status is a constant to me now. It's your spiritual being. That is perfect status. You can't get any better.
When I'm faced with a decision in life, I ask myself: "Why do I want to achieve this, to learn this, to experience this?" I have to be honest with myself—"Is it just because I want personal recognition?"
