FROM A WRITER IN ZIMBABWE
Love
Refrain from crying, beloved widow.
And hold back your tears, beloved orphan.
The Lord God, divine Love, knows you—
You are blessed, for you are of His creation,
His creation so divine.
Think of God, Truth, once and for all as All.
God, the heavenly One, cares for all things;
Your difficulties are turned into sweetness;
He blesses and remembers you with love.
It is love so divine—
Love to help you,
Love to give peace,
Love to give you a good life.
A new home is yours, widow;
A peaceful home is yours, orphan—
Spirit's blessings to you are known eternally.
God is true Father and Mother to you;
He is eternal Love, who created only what is good.
Joy is the music within your home in Love;
Peace is your achievement.
Love is your stay and food.
All who call on God in pain are answered with healing.
Know that you live in divine Love;
Express it to others, assured that God is for you all days.
No pain, no hurt, and no sorrow, then, can stand—
God is infinite Love;
He created you to live in His creation of love.
