Soldiers of God
There is work to be done,
there is work to be done.
There are battles to be fought
and battles to be won;
error to be corrected,
Christly thoughts to be protected—
soldiers of God,
put armor on.
Malice to the left of us
fear to the right of us,
with false claims of power
whispering and tempting us;
strike with the sword of Truth,
heal with the force of Love—
soldiers of God,
fight on!
The fight may seem hard and long,
and sometimes aggression strong,
but we'll sing sooner or later
a well-earned victory song;
gone all false claims of power,
divine Love is supreme each hour—
soldiers of God,
well done!
