In our weekly review of issues the press is covering, we found a goodly amount of space devoted to concerns about fear, hatred, and terrorism. This wasn't a surprise, given world events, but there's another side that needs to be heard—the spiritual argument that ultimately annihilates hate. The voices of hate do sometimes scream loudly, but those voices will never truly give evil the upper hand or prevent us from hearing God's pure and loving message for each of us.
Also in this issue: ideas about safety that grew out of an author's response to the explosion of TWA flight 800 and an experience he and his wife had on an airline flight that didn't go as smoothly as planned. And to help readers prepare for the upcoming elections in the United States, among other places, we offer an article that presents a spiritual perspective on voting.
