I began to study Christian Science in 1974
I began to study Christian Science in 1974. It is time that I shared some of the wonderful healings I have had since then, so that other people might be encouraged to turn to this remarkable religion and an understanding of divine law in their times of need.
Several Christmases ago I was in a big hurry to get everything ready for a car trip the next morning. When I hastily put some trash in a garbage bag, a tin can lid made a very deep gash in my hand. As soon as I realized what had happened, I affirmed to myself that accidents cannot happen to a spiritual reflection of God, which I am.
I wrapped my hand in paper towels. Although there was profuse bleeding, I felt no pain and walked slowly (so I would not scare my young son) into my bedroom, where the nearest copy of Science and Health was.
