I became acquainted with Christian Science about twelve years ago. At that time I had just been divorced, and the truths I was learning about God as an ever-present, divine Parent were of practical comfort to me.

Also at that time I experienced a very precious healing, a healing of grief. My eighteen-month-old daughter had passed on as a result of a drowning accident at our home. The story made the front page of the local newspaper, and there was much sorrow expressed to me by family and friends, as well as strangers. Man is idea, the image, of Love; he is not physique. He is the compound idea of God, including all right ideas; the generic term for all that reflects God's image and likeness; the conscious identity of being as found in Science, in which man is the reflection of God, or Mind, and therefore is eternal. ...
