I became acquainted with Christian Science about twelve years ago. At that time I had just been divorced, and the truths I was learning about God as an ever-present, divine Parent were of practical comfort to me.

Also at that time I experienced a very precious healing, a healing of grief. My eighteen-month-old daughter had passed on as a result of a drowning accident at our home. Man is idea, the image, of Love; he is not physique. He is the compound idea of God, including all right ideas; the generic term for all that reflects God's image and likeness; the conscious identity of being as found in Science, in which man is the reflection of God, or Mind, and therefore is eternal. ...
