All of us have read about the challenges of battling addictions —to gambling, drugs, alcohol.

Many doubted at first that they could be healed by spiritual means alone. But they held on....

Bringing healing to controversy

We are not asked to love all the foibles of mankind. But we are asked to look beyond them to see that each one of us is, in reality, the beautiful, delightful child of God's creating.

"I'm taking no chances!"

To trust in any element of chance, however, is to accept that God is not the only power, that His is not "the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever."

Going deeper

When faced with emergencies, I am learning to understand that man, under God's jurisdiction, cannot be defenseless or subjected to accident.
