When I was introduced to Christian Science by a friend, I was immediately impressed to hear reaffirmed that the kingdom of God, as taught by Christ Jesus, was truly within me; and that God, being perfect Love, has not visited and will not visit evil upon His children.

I have had many opportunities to understand God's love for man through my study and practice of Christian Science. This study has led me out of many difficulties, healed me of disease, reformed and restored my faith in one all-loving, ever-present, Father-Mother God.

Early in my study, I was healed of a debilitating addiction to alcohol, relationship problems, employment difficulties, frequent and severe bouts of flu, allergies, and an exaggerated fear of making mistakes, just to name some. With the help of a Christian Science practitioner, I was healed in just one day of a hairline fracture to the heel of my foot, X-rayed and diagnosed by an orthopedic specialist. Also I was instantly healed of a long-standing illness, diagnosed earlier as acute corrosive gastritis. On one occasion a gastritis attack had been so severe that the attending physician worried I might need to enter a nursing home. Since my healing over twelve years ago, I have not suffered one attack, nor has my body shown any further symptoms of that disorder.
