A member of our staff was telling us about taking his family to a harvest fair and celebration at a local homestead farm a few weeks back. Apples, pears, pumpkins, fresh-squeezed juice, hayrides, a country music foursome, and all the things that go with harvesttime on a farm were included.
In the Northern Hemisphere, September through November is traditionally the season for harvest. This issue of the Sentinel looks at harvest—the gathering of good—in a way that is relevant all year round, in a way that blesses and heals. Also, the Sentinel this week takes special note of Thanksgiving and National Bible Week in the United States.
