By means of this testimony I want to express my gratitude for all the blessings my family and I have received since we began studying Christian Science.
Several years ago my husband and I decided to move to another country. I had been studying Christian Science for a little while and had prayed each day for months for God to show us where our right place was. I closed my ears and eyes to human opinions, expecting God to express His will. We witnessed a marvelous indication of God's love and care.
When we arrived in the new country with a two-year-old son and no work or scholarship awaiting us, we were told it was going to be very difficult to find work, a good and inexpensive place to live, a dependable used car, and so on. My husband and I did not react to these predictions and trusted only in God, knowing that the trip had been the result of prayer and that we could trust divine guidance. Governed by God, we could lack nothing. Five days after our arrival, I was already working in a full-time job. No one could believe it; from a strictly human standpoint, this was impossible. But we had faith that "with God all things are possible" (Matthew). We didn't doubt for a moment that God had already prepared everything for us.
